Andre 3000′s New Fashion Line

New York Magazine points us to Benjamin Bixby, a new self-funded, self-styled, self-reflective fashion line by Andre Benjamin, aka Andre 3000 of OutKast fame. We’ve always been a fan not only of Andre 3000′s music and film career but of his individualistic, always changing but never boring fashion sense. Totally unaligned with current trends (especially those in hip-hop), but yet incredibly, inexplicably of the moment, Benjamin Bixby takes a cue from depression-era football (American) uniforms. The line consists of 70 pieces and Andre 3000 hopes to be selling in Barney’s by fall. He’s also looking for a partner. Any takers?
