Rounding out last week’s Greener Gadgets conference hosted by Inhabitat and Marc Alt, Core 77’s Allan Chochinov presented and discussed the top designs entered into the Greener Gadgets Design Competition, which challenged participants to come up with new and innovative solutions to address the issues of energy, carbon footprint, health and toxicity, new materials, product lifecycle, and social development.

The winning design went to the EnerJar, a DIY energy monitor designed by Matt Meshulam and Zach Dwiel.
