We’ve seen the UK media use the public’s camera and phonecam shots grow since the defining moment of 7/7 and a passerby snap shot seems to have become fairly common to see in the news. Nevertheless, the way the BBC reported a dramatic fire in Camden Market at the weekend caught our eye. This picture montage the BBC put together seems to be mainly made up of photos sent in to the BBC. Only one photo of the ten featured comes from the Associated Press and another from the Press Association. It’s also interesting to see how the BBC mixed in some of the photo-snappers comments into the report.
