25% of Skype Phone Calls Are Web-Based
Some facts and figures have been released about the success of the 3SkypePhone – the mobile phone with inbuilt Skype. Although Tre Italia is not telling us how many phones they sold; they say they’re witnessing 60% monthly growth in users and that the profile is male and 28 – so maybe business men. These guys are taking a quarter of their calls via Skype rather than through the mobile network.
