Always a sucker for good time lapse videos, this inspiring video by the Gondry brothers (yes, Michel has a brother – a video editor) for French electronica artist, Lacquer, makes us just want to hop in a car, throw on some tunes, and hit the road. Shot from the back seat of a convertible, the video takes the viewer coast to coast capturing some spectacular scenery.

that is some rad footage to be sure. the process of making still images appear fluid is curious indeed.
I am on the verge of making a cross country trek next week myself. BikePorn could be coming to a theater near you!

I watched this randomly a few weeks ago but had no idea it was the Gondry bros. By far some of the most innovative people in entertainment/culture.
PSFK – any chance of having them speak/join an upcoming meeting?

this cool but not new….I remember the same concept being done in the 70’s and mounted on the dashboard of the car from the inside.
So thanks Gondry Brothers for “reinterpreting” a great idea.
