Geneva Auto Show Propagates More Green Concepts

The Geneva Auto Show is the first opportunity every year to get a glimpse of new concepts and models planned for the European market. It is usually also the venue where we see the latest developments in small cars. PSFK noted from our visit earlier this year to the Detroit Auto Show that hybrids and green concepts got some serious promotion. This years Geneva Show offered an even wider range of alternative fuel technologies and hybird vehicle ideas.

Business Week offers a recap and gallery of Geneva’s Eco highlights. While concensus on a single powerplant and alternative gasoline direction is wide open, GM Chief Executive Officer Rick Wagoner is looking at the big picture,

We’re just at the beginning of this changeover. I think it’s going to be big and it could happen faster than we think.
