Making The Invisible Visible

By Dan Gould on March 21, 2008

Cell Phone Disco
makes visible the hidden electromagnetic waves that emanate from cell phones. It’s an interactive art installation that lights up LEDs in various degrees when a phone passes by. Very beautiful, but makes me wonder about the effects of all those waves floating around? We noticed this first at the Wired Next Fest last September in LA, and it’s on exhibit through April 2nd in at the Wood Street Gallery in Pittsburgh.
