Mobile Photo Booth Ideas

photoboothOver the past six months, we’ve noticed a couple of great photo booth ideas that really got us excited. The first one, Photoboof, we spotted back in September at Burning Man. Built onto the back of an old meter maid buggy, this mobile photo booth is filled with bizarre props and travels to parties where groups of people can pile in and take a fun series of shots. The rig instantly spits out prints while simultaneously uploading the images to an online gallery. The entire operation is free of charge.

Also traveling to parties and snapping up pics of partygoers, the second idea, Polite In Public, has found a way to produce extremely high quality and unique images while still on site. Recently featured on Notcot, the company builds some super fancy backdrops for parties and events. Their service starts at $2,500, but each backdrop is custom made and the photos that are printed on site are truly impressive. The company have developed a system that allows them to finish their work in near real time, with the average file going through 40-50 changes before being printed and exported for the on site slideshow and web gallery. All filters and lighting designs are also custom developed for each project.
