PSFK Conference New York Speaker Jeff Staple

We’re excited to have designer/artist/entrepreneur Jeff Staple share his insights on ethical design and business on our Good Business panel at PSFK Conference New York - especially with the recent launch of Nike’s Fully Considered Air Jordans, a project Jeff and his team had been developing for four years. As the founder of internationally-recognized Staple Design (as well as Staple Clothing and Reed Space), Jeff has worked with a diverse set of clients, including Uniqlo, LVMH, and Burton Snowboards, while producing his own unique line of designs and apparel.

For those not yet acquainted with Jeff, here’s a brief introduction and a bit about what inspires him.

First, who are you and what do you do?

I’m Jeff Staple…I’m the founder and creative director for Staple Design (a multi-disciplinary design studio), Staple Clothing (an independent menswear collection) and Reed Space (a lifestyle retail store and gallery with locations in NYC and Tokyo.)

You’ll be speaking on our Good Business panel - in one paragraph, can you sum up your views on how Green is affecting businesses? Would you agree that “good is the new green”?
