PSFK Conference San Francisco - Dates?

Thanks for the input so far. OK, we have a possible venue - so can we get some feedback on these dates: July 16-17 and July 23-24?? Do we need to be careful about the city going quiet for summer vacations?

And as for content - well, we’re going to be in SF mid April. Would love to meet some interesting people - maybe we’ll organize a fun little coffee morning. Leave a comment and we’ll email you all when it takes place.

Summer is mostly hit/miss for people’s skeds out here as long as you steer clear of fourth of July and Labor day where there is mass exodus. Pls let me know whn you’re out here nxt month!

Both potential dates sound great. The point about July 4th and Labor Day is a good one to heed.

Also: I’m all for any and all coffee mornings.

I think both dates would be good. The city going quiet because of summer vacations is less of a concern here in SF - we’re sadly very un-european/un-NYC-ish in that way. I think the bigger concern would be the amount of tourists and/or lack of hotel rooms (depending on the location of the venue).

Have you not heard of the famous Mark Twain quote: “The coldest winter I ever had was the summer I spent in San Francisco.” (or something like that)

How about late May? Otherwise either part of July works for me.

I agree with my colleague Mark, July in SF is freezing…BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! However, the important thing isn’t the weather, it’s the fact that the event will be held here. I too, would love to participate in a coffee chat, and again agree with Mark that all of ya’ll should come to our LikemindSF coffee hour on Friday morning March 28 at Blue Bottle Cafe.
