I agree with my colleague Mark, July in SF is freezing...BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! However, the important thing isn't the weather, it's the fact that the event will be held here. I too, would love to participate in a coffee chat, and again agree with Mark that all of ya'll should come to our LikemindSF coffee hour on Friday morning March 28 at Blue Bottle Cafe.

Have you not heard of the famous Mark Twain quote: "The coldest winter I ever had was the summer I spent in San Francisco." (or something like that)

How about late May? Otherwise either part of July works for me.

For those of you who are up for coffee mornings, we have a Likemind coffee morning coming up on March 28 at 8.30 am at BlueBottle Cafe (66 Mint St.)

I think both dates would be good. The city going quiet because of summer vacations is less of a concern here in SF - we're sadly very un-european/un-NYC-ish in that way. I think the bigger concern would be the amount of tourists and/or lack of hotel rooms (depending on the location of the venue).

Both potential dates sound great. The point about July 4th and Labor Day is a good one to heed.

Also: I'm all for any and all coffee mornings.
