San Francisco: Do You Want A PSFK Conference?

by Piers Fawkes in PSFK Conference

As we finalize everything for PSFK Conference New York, we’re beginning to think about other city locations. We hope London will take place in June and there’s an idea about doing a tour of Asia (Shanghai-Tokyo-Singapore) in the Fall.

The most pressing question right now is - should we go to San Francisco in July. Just run a little conference there? Who would we invite to speak?

YES! SF is awesome - and has so much going on… Many, many adv, mktg, tech, new energy, new media folks would love to see a PSFK conference here, or would make great speakers.

  6. Yes! or perhaps Seattle.

  7. Singapore!!! I left my heart in San Francisco too but think that its Singapore that really needs a PSFK conference.

  8. I was interested in NYC, but the timing didn’t work for me. Depending on the speaker line-up, I’d definitely make the trip from Portland.

  9. Yes!! San Francisco is a gorgeous city with tons of great agencies and design firms. As far as speakers go — how about Yves Behar of fuseproject?

  10. Yes please! My living room is available…

  11. Yes. Invite Seth Goldstein (AttentionTrust.org, RootExchange, other stuff).

  12. yes! hybrid design would be great, jason munn from the small stakes, someone from ideo…

  13. The time is right for a conference in ‘Frisco. Sustainable design is ripe. Architecture (good and bad) is happening. Urban renewal abounds. There is something in the air…

  16. definitely yes! midway between socal and the pacific northwest, with great restaurants, nightlife, and scenery. Lets dial in a west coast flavor of inspiration and communication.

  17. you should do one in San francisco and invite rickey kim (mrkimsays.com)

  18. Absolutely! I live in the southwest and would absolutely make a trek up north for a PSFK weekend.
