The Sun Never Sets on Cool

The Sun Never Sets on Cool

By Orli Sharaby on March 19, 2008

Sunglasses are arguably the most expressive accessory, with the ability to totally transform a person’s style in an instant. Wearing the very same outfit, swapping a pair of Ray-Ban Wayfarers for some Oliver Peoples makes a drastically different statement. And JC Report says that this Spring, something new is happening in the sunglasses world — there’s a critical mass of loud, eccentric, highly stylized eyewear suddenly on the market. The online fashion mag points to Linda Farrow‘s collaboration with a slew of hip designers like Luella and Rodarte, Karen Walker‘s neon-colored, cartoonish frames, and Prada‘s Lennon-esque (but blinged out) gold metal numbers, among others.
