DIY QR Buisness Cards

by Jeff Squires in Craft, Electronics & Gadgets, Arts & Culture, Web & Technology

qr code business cardMAKE Magazine’s blog points us to a DIYer with a craftrobo cutter who has managed to cut out functioning QR codes from business cards.  Hold the card against a dark surface and apparently it still scans.  Even when some of the blocks get torn off, the creator claims that the error correction embedded in the code compensates for the missing blocks and still reads it.  (the pictured card has 3 or 4 blocks that have fallen off)
