Empire State Building To Be Lit In Honor Of Mariah Carey?
The archetypal symbol of New York City is being rented out as a promotional device for Mariah’s newest album.
The Empire State Building will be lit in pink, lavender and white all weekend to celebrate the album color motif of Mariah’s new album E=MC2, which enters at #1 on the Billboard chart this week with the biggest first week Soundscan total of her career, 463,000 units.
I can think of at least a thousand other people more deserving of this. Oh wait, E=MC2? Maybe that’s a nod to Einstein…
