Although critics have been suggesting that Tesco’s adventure into the US market has been troubled, Tesco’s have hit back by saying that their Fresh n’ Easy chain is doing well. Although, they’ve reduced the number of stores they expect to open from 1000 to 150, reportedly, sales densities are higher in the stores than the US supermarket industry average with over $20 per square foot per week.
