No, the cult comedy show hasn’t seemed to have died and gone to TV heaven just yet – the Sun reports that HBO have commissioned a series of Little Britain for the US:
LITTLE Britain boys Matt Lucas and David Walliams are playing with their trannie set again – this time filming the US version of the show. The comedy duo slipped into frocks for new characters including chubby schoolgirl Ellie Grace – played by Matt, 34. David, 36, dons a denim jacket and flowery skirt as Ellie’s “mom” in the new series. …But it was not clear whether they are bringing back rubbish transvestite Emily – whose catchphrase is “I’m a laydee”.
