Penguin Asks Shepard For Some Cover Artwork

By Piers Fawkes on April 15, 2008

Fairly quickly after the release of his iconic poster of Barack Obama, Shepard Fairey follows up with some more political-themed work for Penguin that borrows cleverly from his Obey work. Penguin commissioned the artist/designer who runs StudioNumberOne to create two new book covers for re-editions of George Orwell classics: Animal Farm and 1984. The Animal Farm design can be found on the
CR Blog. Both books will be published in the UK in July.
