Animal-Inspired Home Decor

by Joel Horowitz in Design, Retail, Home & Garden

polarbearIbride, a French design boutique, has produced a line of furniture mimicking mother nature’s very own. Including polar-bear bookcases and ostrich-leg consoles, the pieces can be big & scary or small & cute – all definitely neat.

  1. I don’t like the tables that cut off the animal profiles mid-section. It reminds me of those advertisements that have just women’s bodies but no heads. I’d like them better if they somehow portrayed the “whole” animal and not just body parts. It feels like they should be mounted on a wall like safari trophies.
