An interesting concept from Coolspotters. The site lets users upload images of celebrities, products, brands, places, events, etc. and then tag and cross reference them. It allows you to see a curious web of celebrity consumption trends, product placements and connections such as Jay-Z wears Crooks and Castles, Rose McGowen takes pictures with her iPhone and Iron Man likes Buger King. An interesting complement to Noah Brier’s Brand Tags and Celeb Tags.

This seems creepy to me. Can’t we let celebrities use their phone or go to Burger King in peace? It’s like they are on camera 24/7.
Talk about Big Brother…it’s like everyone with a camera phone is a paparazzi now. It’s almost Orwellian only there is no secret service, any person is potentially a spy. Click!
It sure makes celebrity seem completely unappealing.
