Ideeli Adds Music to Its Repertoire

Members-only luxury sample sale website ideeli, which launched several months ago to lots of fanfare, is changing the game again. Till this morning, ideeli specialized in mostly female-oriented fashion objects – designer handbags, jewelry, etc. – offered at a steep discount in limited numbers to its gated community of members.

But this morning, an email arrived in our inbox alerting us that “First Row” members of the site (those who pay a $7.99/month fee for even greater access than the regular members-only crowd) now have a chance to win VIP tickets to Janet Jackson’s Rock Witchu Tour. We had been wondering when – and indeed, if – ideeli would break out of its very niche offering of Oscar de la Renta clutches and Valentino sunglasses. With the addition of concert tickets, it seems they have.
