New Website Encourages Slacking, Reading At Work

By Dan Gould on June 13, 2008

This screen shot is of a new website from the New Zealand Book Council designed to make books more accessible, and to encourage people to enjoy reading again. The site is designed to look like a Windows desktop, and the books are in a a mock power point format for easy “stealth mode” reading at work. It features over 20 works including poetry, short stories and full length books. Witty promotional idea from the Book Council, and a welcome diversion for bored office workers around the world.
