Bike Part Vending Machines

by Dan Gould

There’s nothing worse than getting a blown tire and having to walk your bike all the way back home or to the bike shop. Thanks to the Trek Stop, residents of Madison, Wisconsin won’t have to worry about such problems anymore. The bicycle maker has installed a prototype vending machine stocked with parts and supplies to help keep you cycling. Bike parts, energy bars, water bottles and an air hose are available, along with a video kiosk with instructions on how to do simple bike repairs.
