The latest body modification fad to come down the line is ear sculpting. Body mod expert Russ Foxx has developed a surgical process that will transform your human ears into a pointy pair of elf ears.

I wonder if these people will still love their ears down the road? There seems to be a growing nonchalance around doing whatever it takes to work your body into some inhuman ideal. In a similar story, a recent New York Times article explained the growing trend of brides-to-be making over their entire wedding party with botox, teeth whitening and breast implants. Whether trying to look like a fantasy character, or a model, the common use of medical procedures to attain some “look” is highly questionable.

i know it wasn´t russ foxx who came out with this procedure. maybe it was steve haworth back in the late 90´s but russ foxx isn´t the guy who developed this procedure.

oh this stuff has been around for years! I don’t know if it’s a growing trend. and Russ Foxx definitely should not get the credit for developing the procedure. I agree with Felipe, it’s more likely Steve Haworth, but there are many other practitioners out there….
