Light Way Fiber Optic Baseboard Lighting

Light Way Fiber Optic Baseboard Lighting

By Dan Gould on July 11, 2008

Foot level lighting at movie theaters is always very helpful, allowing you to not trip over a misplaced soda cup, or fall down a flight of stairs. A group of industrial designers have come up with an alternative use of the cinema staple, as a new option for home or office lighting. The “Light Way” system features fiber optic lighting that’s controlled by motion sensors, so it only turns on when needed. Great idea for little used spaces, or where overhead lighting would be difficult to install.
