Meet Now Live: Party Radar & Free Beer

By Dan Gould on July 8, 2008

Mobile phone service Meet Now Live is a location based social networking tool that lets users find bars, nitelife and new friends. Anyone with a mobile web browser can sign up on the website and find out where the happening party is at. The service will also broadcast your location, so your people can come find you – and you’ll get a picture of where everyone is hanging out.

Did I mention the free beer?

Meet Now Live has an interesting twist. Several bars have partnered with the service, and are offering unlimited free beer to members who are in their bar (at specified times). During these free for all specials, an e-drink ticket will be sent to the users, good for all they can drink. Bar owners are also able to send out drink specials on the spot to Meet Now Live members who are in the bar or nearby. It’s useful because they get immediate feedback on whether or not the promotion is working, and they can tailor it on the fly to grab more customers. MNL is currently available in New York City, the Hamptons and the New Jersey shore.
