PSFK Conference San Francisco Speaker George Murphy

We are looking forward to having George Murphy, founder of Modo Group, share his insights with us at PSFK Conference San Francisco. He’ll be speaking with John Pollard of Microsoft on our “When Words Are Not Enough” panel about using experience design to enhance communication.

Who are you and what do you do?

I am George Murphy and I am a brand development and marketing management consultant at Modo Group, a marketing management consultancy based in Seattle and Paris. My partners and I help large and medium sized companies manage their brands and increase brand relevancy to new audiences without compromising core values.

You’ll be speaking on our “When Words Are Not Enough” panel, Can you provide a paragraph on how environment and technology help consumers make meaningful connections with the brand?

This is a fairly huge topic and a paragraph would be a disservice. So allow me to butcher the topic further by reducing it to a sentence: Environment provides context, technology provides the enabling element that makes a brand relevant – in some instances.
