Rec Rooms Make A Comeback

Rec rooms, which reached peak popularity in the 1970′s are coming back into style. Parents worried about negative outside influence are corralling the kids in tricked out luxury recreation rooms within the confines of the family house. These rec rooms aren’t the dingy basements of the past, they’re stocked with every diversion imaginable. Let’s see: Big screen TV, video games, home gym, pool table – check, check, check and check. With everything right at home (combined with the soaring costs of going out), kids and teens are latching on to the idea of nesting and enjoying a “new domesticity”.
