By Dan Gould on July 24, 2008

High tech defense contractor Raytheon has recently exhibited a system that allows for greater control over remote combat planes, which was partially designed by video game producers. With Raytheon’s “Universal Control System” you can pilot robotic planes and destroy targets thousands of miles away. It looks exactly like a video game, but with this one, real people get killed.

Slate: “War Is Halo: Killing real people becomes a video game.”
