Pandamonium: A Costumed, Roving, Apocalyptic, Street Party

by Jeff Squires

Taking place this Saturday in New York, Pandamonium is a mysterious flashmob styled party that has been billed as a “costumed, roving, street party, apocalyptic, dance, rock, battle.”

The event is asking participants to arrive at New York’s Union Square at 8:30 with boomboxes in hand and dressed in your finest panda attire. Participants must register online to receive a text message that will provide details for the party. A Myspace profile has also been created in addition to a Twitter feed.

Presumably, there will be a pirated radio station broadcasting music and/or instructions to party goers, similar to the underground Boombox parties in Berlin,.
