Fonolo Will End Your Automated Phone System Nightmare

Fonolo Will End Your Automated Phone System Nightmare

By Dan Gould on August 7, 2008

Technology. It’s sometimes so helpful, and sometimes, a huge pain in the neck. One of the biggest frustrations for me, is encountering a never ending automated phone system menu. I’ll usually end up angrily pounding the 0 key, hoping to override the system and get to a real person.

With the new Fonolo service, these problems may be a thing of the past. Fonolo in a web based tool that visually shows the phone menu structure of commonly called customer service numbers. Type in the name or number of the company you want to call, and the menu will unfold on screen with text of the instructions for each node. When you find the appropriate extension, Fonolo will dial it, then ring your phone – and presto, you’ll be connected to the exact place you need to be, bypassing the time wasting process of manually wading through unneeded menus.
