		<description>the trend was obvious at MAGIC this past week.  

in the main hall, where the large corporate brands enticed buyers, traffic was down and the vibe even lower.

while in the north &amp; south halls (as well as POOL), the body count was up, the energy level high the clothing far more interesting.

the low-fi displays seemed far friendlier...and more attractive...than that of the corporate brands.  

no research to support that this led to greater sales...but there&#039;s something to be said for the energy they provided.</description>
