Indications That Design is Sobering Up
Coree 77 reports from the London Design Festival that the offerings are very pared down compared to the baroque styles of the past two years. Simplicity of shape and a revival of a 50′s aesthetic are some prevalent themes that they have noticed. Sustainability is also in the air, and it could be surmised that all this simplicity of form is one way of reducing each items environmental footprint.
