There has been some talk in the blogosphere about real-time Twitter micro novels, this approach would be interesting in particular genres such as Twitter crime micro-novel ... A vampire did it

This is their 2nd micro-novel about criminal cases in NYC.

Wired had an article about this in 2005. I'm so tired of hearing about Micro novels, flash fiction, mini novels, cell phone novels, blog novels, it's a joke. they are short stories. there's nothing new about this idea.
Also - i feel like i've heard numerous articles ABOUT this phenomenon - but haven't seen any links to sites or ways to sign up for a current cell phone novel. Where are these things??

Well, there's ever-more options to read novels / novellas / stories / literature in mini-portions (swedish as well as japenese!) which I guess would suggest there's an audience for this - I wrote a post on this exact topic on my blog which has a few examples ( Give us this day our daily read

[...] in favor of their keyboard and a word processor, but microblogging makes things even easier. PSFK points out that the medium has obvious advantages for the writer just trying to find time to get thoughts [...]
