Multitouch Walls, Floors, Ceilings…
MultiTouch, a company specializing in multitouch LCD displays, has recently unveiled their MultiTouch Cell, a modular screen system that makes it possible for users to combine several screens to create enormous touch displays, far beyond your average monitor or TV screen size. MultiTouch’s screens may still be luxury items (a 32″ display costs about $7,000; a 46″ about $15,000), but their advances in multiple user response and finger-to-hand recognition are a promising sign.
