We’re excited to have Chris Lee, Creative Director of ideas company Asylum, joining us in Singapore at PSFK Conference Asia on our “Singapore Snapshot” panel to discuss what makes Singapore tick. We asked him to share a little bit about himself with us.

First, who are you and what do you do?

I am the founder and creative director of the ‘ideas company’ Asylum, a creative company that comprises of a design studio, a retail store, a workshop and a record label.

You’ll be speaking on our “Singapore Snapshot” discussion. In one paragraph, can you explain how what the PSFK audience should expect to learn from the discussion? What role do you see Singapore playing in the global cultural/business arena?

Singapore creativity is increasingly being sought after internationally, as our sensibility and design are highly exportable. Coming from a multi-cultural environment, our work touches upon certain basic human emotions that can communicate across cultures.
