Shadow Street Art

Shadow Street Art

By Dan Gould on September 12, 2008

Kaunas, Lithuania is home to this beautiful piece of time sensitive street art. During the day, it just looks like someone painted a swash of stars falling to earth. But at night, the shadow of a nearby statue activates the painting and brings it to life, revealing a hidden dimension. Light, darkness, and imagination combine to give a new life to the unmoving monument and augments reality in a surpirising way.
