Several years ago The Sartorialist pioneered a new trend in blogging, bringing local street style to the desktops of millions worldwide. Since then, the street-style blog phenomenon has exploded, inspiring a thousand versions of the original, each a little different and with its own merits. There are the city-specific streetwear blogs, the high-fashion photo blogs, the user-generated versions…

Now, there’s Stitsh.com, which adds a much-needed element to the mix: e-commerce. Stitsh posts pics from the streets of London and links directly to product pages for each of the items their subjects are wearing. Stitsh also provides weekly style advice. This week’s is Smart Trousers: “The style for men the last couple of years has been rather scruffy on the whole, but we’re seeing a new smarter look on the streets at the moment..”
