Swoon’s Swimming Cities
Contemporary artist Swoon has designed and organized a number of rag-tag looking boats as part of the Swimming Cities of the Switchback Sea installation – her second major installation for Deitch projects. Swimming cities of Switchback Sea is a flotilla of seven “intricately hand crafted” vessels that have been navigating a stretch of the Hudson River between Troy and the New York harbor this summer.
Collaborators include playwright Lisa D’Amour and Jeff Stark who worked on boat design.
