World Premiere of Blog Theatre

By Dan Gould on September 19, 2008

Commenters over at a Seattle Stranger blog have taken over the comments section, and are putting on a play about George Washington. The bite sized play has been organized by Seattle prank-art collective PDL. So far, the “Blog Theatre” takes up over 330 comments. It’s all very Twitter meets Improv Everywhere. Very interesting idea –who would have guessed blog comments could become a stage (as opposed to the mean-spirited snark fest many comment sections have become). As William Gibson said: “The street finds its own uses for things.”
