As a lawn care professional for the past 10 years my initial thought was one of concern for the people in the industry. The more I thought about it the more I see that it will only ever be a machine for general low level maintenance of turf, there’s just so much more involved to lawn care or even lawn mowing to gain a professional result than just the mowing. I’ll start to get worried when they invent a self operating line trimmer :) Until then I think we can categorise this into the “rich boys toys” category. Come to think of it, I wouldn’t mind one myself.

I’m sure this stirs a similar reaction to when mowers were first introduced… wow, what’ll they think of next? Bit expensive tho’… let’s wait a decade(?) til the price drops…. then everyone will have one.

It will be great when the day comes that we see devices like this in everyones home, 7 grand is a bit steep but i guess thats the price of progress.
