“Mankind Is No Island” is a beautiful, poetic short film that uses found typography and simple, powerful imagery to highlight the connection all of humanity shares. Amazingly, it was shot entirely on a cell phone video camera. Jason van Genderen’s film recently won the $20,000 first prize at Tropfest in New York.

Thanks for sharing. An excellent example of creating compelling communication without resorting to big budget production. I just shared with my entire agency as an example of great thinking.
