There’s a terrific video of the artist Matt Moore and the work he has on display at the Threadless store in Chicago. Matt works across disciplines, from colorful illustrations in his signature ‘Vectorfunk’; style, to free form watercolor paintings, and massive aerosol murals. This video brings to life the inspiration behind the artist’s work.

In an interview with PSFK in July this year, Matt said

The Vectorfunk work is very inspired by math, architecture, optical illusions, and texture. Always with a hint of psychadelia and mystery too.

In addition to this show, Matt has recently released a great stocking filler – his 2009 Calendar.
