		<description>Interesting, but a way more functional app was launched about 10 years ago by skim.

They printed 6 digit numbers on all their clothing which if you saw someone wearing, you remembered (or wrote down), if you wanted to get in touch.

Entering the number on skim.com would send a message to the wearer.

There was obviously a disconnect compared to this, in that you had to wait to get back to a PC; but neat idea, and one of the first forays into offline / online social networking - and sadly proved to be ahead of its time.

www.FloydHayes.com is easily understood immediately and you can still take a picture of the link for later if you like.
