On the streets of Brisbane…

For a long time trainers hanging from the telephone wires have been a common sight in the urban landscape. Explanations behind the ’shoefiti’ phenomenon range from a declaration of gang territory through to an advertisement for nearby drug opportunities, or even to mark the end of school year.  There have been a number of ’shoe on a wire’ variations popping up in cities worldwide.  A pair of catfish were recently spotted in St. Lucia, Brisbane.
