We noticed this escalator outside a building in the renovated Mary Brickell Village on a recent trip to Miami. The escalator takes you up to a bar. It’s amazing how technology cheapens an image. Hey, we all want access for all - but who wants to really go to a bar where the main entrance is an escalator.

in Hong Kong many bars, clubs and restaurants have the elevator as main entrance.
You get into a lift, press the floor #13,
and once the doors open, you are INSIDE the bar already.
Don’t complain, escalators are ok, and fun.
