Spoonflower: Custom Printed Fabric On Demand

By Dan Gould on November 14, 2008

Spoonflower is one of the latest entries in the do it yourself craft and design movements championed by sites like Etsy, Ponoko and Shapeways. The online service lets users upload designs to be printed on high quality Kona cotton. So far members have created unique fabrics used to make quilts, pillows, dolls, blankets, bags, art and more. Spoonflower is also appropriately headquartered at an old sock mill in downtown Mebane, North Carolina. Check out the latest designs here.
