new site design psfk.png

This weekend PSFK updated the look and feel of its site. Working with the designer Jack Cheng we looked to evolve the site to make it both simpler to use, encourage deeper browsing of the site and also reinforce an image that we are a serious news source.

It’s a big deal for us and while there are probably a few bugs – we’d would love to hear your thoughts on the new design in the comments section. Thanks!

You're reading PSFK.

Inspiration to make things better.

  1. Well done!!

  2. Slick, clean, ordered – well done guys…

One suggestion, maybe the categories as a drop down list?

    Keep keeping on :-)

  3. I miss all the purple [serious comment, everything is white these days...]

Possible bug issue, I was trying to search for the 360 degree stop action commercial I saw last month I believe, and the search didn’t work. I tried a few basic searches as well and they would return nothing.

    All in all, nicely played.

  4. i like purple, whatever u guys do as long as u keep it purple it’s fine to me!

  5. Looks great, guys! PSFK is my favorite blog. Love what you guys are doing here. Keep it up!

  6. Well done!

  7. Its really, really good!

  8. Looking allright, guys!

Something I’d still improve is the vertical hierarchy on both main & article template- now the page feels bit messy and unaligned. My suggestion would be to give up the white boxing around the content and work on expanding the main content, related articles, comments and footer somehow into full browser width. But a great improvement nevertheless!

  9. i just didn’t like the fact we had to click on the “read more” to read the posts. i like the other way, where i could read all the posts without had to click and click back… can you returned to the old way of reading the posts???
    tks

  10. i love the new look. congrats!
