Australian media watchdog, the Advertising Standards Bureau recently made public the most complained-about adverts of 2008.

145 viewers had issues with Domino’s ‘Supercalafreakinawesome’ catchphrase for their Mary Poppins take off called ‘Many Toppins’;

This billboard from Advanced Medical Institute raised over 100 complaints;

Inghams Chicken rustled some feathers with their claim that “if you don’t like chicken, there must be something wrong with you;”

Coca Cola’s advert was a little too violent for some, hiring a SWAT team to track down and beat up those responsible for the original ‘Mother’ energy drink:

But the ad that took the cake was this one for Kotex, which featured a girl taking her ‘beaver’ friend on social outings. The advertisement attracted a surprisingly scant 195 complaints nationwide:
