Want to know where all that money went? On the site BailOutSleuth.Com, Chris Carey collects and presents information about where the US bail out money. The site monitors the government’s purchase, and eventual sale, of bad mortgages and other distressed assets. It also provides regular reports on the process, tracking and analyzing deals and providing information about the companies and people involved in them. The about section of the site says:

BailoutSleuth seeks to add transparency to the bailout program, and will keep an eye out for favoritism, political influence or anything else that could undermine the potential returns to taxpayers.

The site is full of detail presented in a straight-froward way. The content is tagged so that you could look at it by subject matter like Treasury  and TARP. Arianna Huffington said at a recent event at the 92Y in New York that the Huffington Post will soon be syndicating the content.
